Zlatan Ibrahimovic Re-Signs With United On One-Year Deal

Aug 25, 2017 10:49 AM

Manchester United has announced the signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a one-year contract.

Ibrahimovic is out until January following his torn ACL.

Jose Mourinho said: “We are delighted Zlatan is on the road to recovery and we are equally delighted to have his ambition and experience back with us. After his contribution last season he deserves our trust and we will be patient waiting for him to return. I have no doubt that he will be important in the second part of the season.”

Ibrahimovic added: “I am back to finish what I started. It was always mine and the club’s intention for me to stay. I cannot wait to get back out on that Old Trafford pitch, but I also know that I have to take my time to make sure that I am ready. I have been working hard and will continue to do so to make sure I am in the best possible condition for my return to the pitch.”

Isco, Real Madrid Sign Four-Year Extension With $827M Release Clause

Aug 12, 2017 8:20 AM

Isco has signed his contract extension with Real Madrid for four seasons with an option for a fifth.

The deal also includes a €700 million ($827 million) release clause.

"There are no players in Madrid's first-team squad with a clause below 500 million," AS's source explained. "And in Castilla [Real's 'B' team], there are now players with clauses of 300 million."

Isco was linked to a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur last summer and then Barcelona earlier this year.

The injury to Gareth Bale solidified Isco's place with Real Madrid and led to their decision to send James Rodriguez to Bayern Munich.
