Robert Lewandowski ranked first in The Guardian's Top 100 for 2020 with 83 percent of judges putting him in that slot.

Lewandowski is also one of only 12 players who have been on the list every year since it began in 2012. Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, of course, but also Neymar, Eden Hazard, Luka Modric, Sergio Agüero, Luis Suárez, Thiago Silva, Toni Kroos, Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema.

Liverpool had 12 players in the top 100, followed by Bayern Munich with 11, Real Madrid with nine and Manchester City with seven. City dropped from first to fourth.
