Cristiano Ronaldo has tested negative for COVID-19 19 days after he was diagnosed as positive.

"Cristiano Ronaldo carried out a check with a diagnostic test [swab] for COVID-19," a club statement read.

"The exam provided a negative result. The player has, therefore, recovered after 19 days and is no longer subjected to home isolation."

Ronaldo missed Wednesday's Champions League match against Lionel Messi and Barcelona.

Ronaldo tested positive for the coronavirus on Oct. 13 while on international duty with Portugal.
