Neymar is out for the remainder of the World Cup with a fractured vertebrae.

Neymar has scored four goals while creating 13 chances during Brazil's first five matches.

The injury occurred near the end of Brazil's 2-1 win over Colombia when he was kneed in the back by Juan Zuniga.

Luiz Felipe Scolari said: "Neymar was going to be hunted. For three matches that has been happening."

Team doctor Rodrigo Lasmar told Brazil's SportTV: "Unfortunately, he's not going to be able to play.

"It's not serious in the sense that it doesn't need surgery, but he'll need to immobilise it to recover."
