Spain will certainly bring Iker Casillas and Pepe Reina to Brazil for the World Cup, but Vicente del Bosque must now pick a third goalkeeper with Victor Valdes ruled out with a knee injury.

Davie de Gea has had a strong season with Manchester United and appears to be ahead of Diego Lopez, Roberto Jimenez and Kiko Casilla.

“I have in mind the third keeper, but allow me not to say anything,” Del Bosque told AS. “Of course [De Gea] is one of the possibilities to come. He has already been with us a few times.”
