Bayern Munich president Herbert Hainer told supporters that the club remain interested in Leroy Sane.
Sane is still recovering from an ACL injury.
"Leroy is a great player in whom we are interested, which is known. Let's see how he comes back from his injury," said Hainer.
Hainer added that Cristiano Ronaldo is too old to play for the club.
"Many names are linked with us by the media. Cristiano should be a bit too old for us."
