David Moyes insists his job at Manchester United is safe amid reports that the board is discussing his dismissal depending on how the club plays over the next two weeks.

"The biggest assurance is that they let me get on with the job," Moyes said. "We are making big plans for the years going forward and it is not a club that works on short-term vision, it works for the long-term.

"My future has not changed one bit. I have a great job, I know exactly the direction I want to go in.

"It's not the season we wanted, but I have ideas to put in place at the right time.

"The only thing now is the Olympiakos game, getting through that would give us a great lift and we have to do all we can to get through the game."
