Xabi Alonso will decide his Bayern Munich future early next year.
Alonso, 34, has a deal with the Bavarians that expires in June 2016 when he'll be 35.
Alonso joined Bayern in 2014 from Real Madrid.
"At the moment, I've got no idea," Alonso said. "My aim is to perform well at the start of the season and feel good.
"We'll see what happens -- in five or six months we'll know."
