Ryan Giggs has no immediate plans to turn his hand to management amid comments from Paul Scholes that his former teammate may want to leave Manchester United to become manager elsewhere.

Giggs is Louis van Gaal's second in command at United.

"I don't think in the next year or so, there is no rush," Giggs told The Sun. "As far as I am concerned I am really happy where I am and have no plans on going anywhere else. I am really enjoying it."

Van Gaal insisted last week that there has been no rift between himself and Giggs after the pair produced very different reactions to Wednesday's victory at Newcastle.
