Manchester City has agreed to buy Bernardo Silva from Monaco for £60 million ($76.8 million).

Silva is a 22-year-old midfielder identified by Pep Guardiola as one of his top targets.

Silva joined Monaco on a permanent deal in 2015 from Benfica.

Silva becomes the most expensive player in City history, beating the £55 million record paid by City for Kevin De Bruyne in 2015.
