Barcelona would like to sign Luis Suárez and Ivan Rakitic to extensions by the end of 2016.

Sergio Busquets, Javier Mascherano and Neymar have signed extensions in recent weeks.

Barcelona plans on pivoting to extensions for Marc-André ter Stegen, Sergi Roberto, Andrés Iniesta and Leo Messi once the Suarez and Rakitic deals are done.

Suarez and Rakitic joined Barcelona in 2014.
