Liverpool have offered Borussia Dortmund £11 million ($14.5 million) for United States international Christian Pulisic.

Pulisic, 17, became the youngest player to score twice in the Bundesliga last season, but Dortmund have made a number of new signings this summer that could limit his appearances.

Earlier this week, German newspaper Bild reported that Stoke City had bid €20m (£17.1m) for Pulisic, with German clubs Leipzig and Stuttgart also reportedly linked to a move.

Pulisic was left out of Dortmund's squad for the German Super Cup last week, but his father told Bild at the time that he did not want to leave the team with an additional two seasons left on his contract.

"Christian has no interest in leaving the club," Mark Pulisic said. "He had a good half year last season, and wants to continue to break through."

Jurgen Klopp was manager of Dortmund when Pulisic signed there in January of 2015.
