Barcelona have bought Lucas Digne from Paris Saint-Germain for an initial fee of €16.5 million.

Digne, a left back, spent last season on loan at Serie A side Roma.

Barca said on their official website that the transfer fee could rise by €4m subject to "individual and team results" and that 22-year-old's contract will contain a €60m buyout clause.

Barca had recently been linked with Germany and Cologne left-back Jonas Hector, and Atletico Madrid youngster Theo Hernandez.

Digne will now provide competition for long-term first choice Jordi Alba, 27, at left-back, and the signing could mean that Adriano Correia, 31, finally moves on from the Camp Nou.
