The £6.2 million trigger clause of Marc Bartra of Barcelona has been triggered by Borussia Dortmund.

Bartra will help Dortmund replace Mats Hummels, who left this season for Bayern Munich.

Bartra's release clause dropped from £31 million to £6.2 million this summer.

"Bartra's season, on a personal level, has not been as good as we had hoped," agent Carles Puyol told SPORT.

"He did not have much playing time, but now he is focused on the national team. He is very motivated and excited [about the Euros]. We will see what happens."

Bartra is a graduate of La Masia but hasn't become a first team regular due to the presence of Gerard Pique and Javier Mascherano.
