Edinson Cavani is flattered by the interest he's received from Atletico Madrid.

Cavani joined Paris Saint-Germain from Napoli in 2013 for €60 million but has struggled to produce his best form in a wide role

He told a news conference while with the Uruguay national team on Tuesday: "I have a contract at the moment with PSG, but first I must talk about certain things with the coach.

"The decision to stay or not is not down to just one person but should be between the coach and the player, with lots of factors on the table."

Cavani also spoke to Uruguayan outlet El Observador and indicated that he would not look to force his way out of Paris.

"I have a contract and I want to respect that," he said. "The club has shown me that they want me to stay. There are things we must talk about, but I like life in the city and there is a competitive team."
