Manchester United and Jose Mourinho have agreed upon a deal for him to take over as manager.

Louis Van Gaal led United to a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace in the FA Cup and seemed to be under the impression he would remain as manager but is now certain to be fired.

Mourinho left Chelsea in December and turned down an offer from Paris Saint-Germain hoping to become manager of United.

United’s plan had always been to keep Van Gaal in the job for three years before handing over to someone younger, such as Ryan Giggs. But United fail to progress on the pitch and many of the club's signing didn't show improvement.
