Louis van Gaal claims the ambition of Pep Guardiola to work in the Premier League won't impact his standing with Manchester United.

Guardiola is widely expected to end up with Manchester City but Manchester United and Chelsea are also considered legitimate options

“I’m at the end of my career so for me it’s not so interesting. For me it’s interesting how I take care of Manchester United and after this season I still have one year to go,” Van Gaal said of his three-year contract.

“He [Guardiola] wants to sniff the culture of England and I wanted that also. I think that it is very good he wants to do that and I didn’t think it will have an impact on his club. Every manager has that right to announce that. It’s not for sure he will be the manager of a Premier League club next season.”
