Alvaro Negredo has reportedly rejected the chance to join Barcelona in January.

Negredo could have joined Barcelona on a six-month loan to give the club an extra attacking option.

Negredo has told Barca he would prefer to stay at Valencia and work with new manager Gary Neville.
