Brendan Rodgers has been fired as manager of Liverpool after three and a half years.

The firing came after Liverpool's 1-1 draw against Everton, which culminated a run of one win in nine matches.

Jürgen Klopp, the former title-winning coach of Borussia Dortmund, and three-time Champions League winner Carlo Ancelotti are both in the frame to replace Rodgers.

Liverpool intends to use the international break to meet their favored candidates.
