Manchester United will seek a contract extension with Paul Pogba amid fears he will run out his contract and leave on a free transfer. Pogba is set to enter the final season of his deal and could begin negotiating with rival clubs outside the Premier League in January.

There have been no firm transfer talks with any of the major clubs in Europe. Pogba's camp have told those clubs that he would be interested in joining them if he was available for free in a year.

Agent Mino Raiola has gone on record to say Pogba will not sign a new contract at Old Trafford but sources have told ESPN United have not given up hope that a deal can be reached.
