Orlando City owner Flavio da Silva is reportedly looking to sell the team for $400 million before the 2021 season.

Da Silva initially acquired the franchise for $70 million, with the team receiving a $295 million valuation last year.

It is unclear whether other assets, including a NWSL side and USL team, would be included as part of the deal.

“Sources have characterized the soccer investment by da Silva as just that — an investment and business transaction where he could eventually turn a profit. In other words, da Silva wasn’t getting involved in the league for the long-haul,” reported SportsBusiness in May 2019.
