Arsenal has reached a transfer deal with Barcelona to acquire Alexis Sánchez for approximately £30 million ($51 million), according to multiple media reports.

Sánchez is expected to pass his physical in the coming hours.

Barcelona is selling Sánchez this summer to help fund its transfer move for Luis Suárez.

Sánchez has been viewed as a very talented spare part for Barça throughout most of his time with the club.
