Manchester United has been told by Juventus that a transfer deal for Arturo Vidal would cost €56 million and Nani in a player-plus-cash deal.

United is keenly interested in acquiring a central midfielder during the summer window, but the price tag may be too much even for one of the richest clubs in the world. United has already purchased Luke Shaw and Ander Herrera for a combined fee of more than €70 million.

United could instead turn to William Carvalho of Sporting Lisbon, who is valued at €46 million.
