Several La Liga sides, including Real Valladolid, Osasuna, and Eibar, have rejected testing for the coronavirus.

Clubs have donated their testing kits to vulnerable groups with symptoms.

"It's true that La Liga put at our disposal the tests but we haven't used them because of medical and social criteria," said Real Valladolid spokesman David Espinar.

"None of our players have symptoms and we believe there are other groups that are less privileged and in more need. They are the ones that should have priority."

La Liga hired a private medical service to administer over 500 tests to players.

The practice drew criticism from Spanish FA president Luis Rubiales, who called the testing "totally unpatriotic."
