Maurizio Sarri is expected to be hired as manager of Juventus, though the appointment is currently being delayed due to Chelsea's demand for compensation.

Chelsea want Juventus to buy their manager out of his deal for a fee £5 million.

Sarri's future with Chelsea was uncertain entering the summer, but he did lead the club to a third place finish in the Premier League in addition to winning the Europa League.

"For us Italians, the lure of home is strong," Sarri said. "You feel something is missing. It has been a difficult year. I start feeling the weight of my friends being so far, of my elderly parents who I see so rarely."
