Real Madrid have put a $40 million transfer tag on Raul de Tomas.

De Tomas, who was on loan at Rayo Vallecano last season, scored 14 goals in the league.

De Tomas was linked with a Benfica move, but will attempt to play his way into Zinedine Zidane's squad next season.
