Lionel Messi praised Barcelona's performance following a 3-0 win against Manchester United in the Champions League quarterfinals.

"It was spectacular. This is who we are. We were cold and nervous for the first five minutes. I don't know why, but then we took control," said Messi.

Barcelona will face the winner of the Liverpool/Porto tie in the semifinals. 

"Now we have LaLiga Santander and we can't relax, before dealing with the semi-finals with the respect it deserves," added Messi.
