Keaton Parks will join NYCFC on loan for the 2019 season from Benfica. 

Parks mentioned the international pedigree of NYCFC for his excitement.

“NYCFC are a great club. The coaching staff is very experienced – Domenec [Torrent] has a lot of experience in Europe – and just the club itself has a great reputation. It was the most appealing to me and I’m glad I made this decision," said Parks.

Parks added that his ultimate goal was to get back into the national team.

“It’s in the back of my mind. Of course I’d love to play for the national team again, that’s my dream. But I’m just focused on doing my best here, and hopefully that’ll lead to something with the national team again, but I’m just focused here.”
