The French league (LFP) fined PSG 100,000 Euros for racially profiling youth players.

PSG did not use the data for discriminatory purposes, though the club broke a French law against collecting an individual's racial or ethnic origin.

PSG accepted blame and stated that they not know their registration department collected data on individual ethnic backgrounds.

"There is no case of discrimination that can be proved. It is more a case of individual clumsiness and collective negligence," stated LFP disciplinary commissioner Sebastien Deneux.
