Maurizio Sarri wants his players to work with a sports psychologist after lamenting his side's lack of mental toughness following Chelsea's 1-0 loss to Leicester City.

Sarri was concerned with how his players reacted following Jamie Vardy's goal. He expressed a similar concern in a 2-1 loss to Wolves earlier this month.

Sarri wondered if the culture surrounding English football was right for Chelsea to hire a sports psychologist.

"I had a sports psychologist 15 years ago. In Italy it was really very difficult because the clubs were not ready in that moment, but I think they are not ready also in this moment. [That was] my experience in Italy. I don't know [what it's like] here. We can talk about this [with the club]. Why not?"
