Maurizio Sarri said Eden Hazard will receive more playing time in the false nine role following Chelsea's 2-0 win over Manchester City.

Hazard, usually deployed as a left winger, finished the match with two assists as a false nine. Pedro and Willian started on the wings.

“He had some problems at the beginning of the match but he was great in the second half. Maybe he deserved to score and I think he’s a very good option [in that position]," said Sarri afterwards.

Hazard, who played as a false nine under Antonio Conte, said that the position "is a bit strange because you don’t touch the ball a lot."

Hazard finished with 39 total touches in the match.
