West Ham has fired Slaven Bilic as manager after winning just two of their first 11 matches this season.

Owners David Gold and David Sullivan had hoped giving Bilic extra time would allow him to right the season.

West Ham is expected to hire David Moyes as his replacement. Moyes has struggled in each of his stops since leaving Everton in 2013 for Manchester United. Moyes quit Sunderland after being unable to stave off relegation at the end of last season. Moyes also managed Real Sociedad.

Moyes will have time over the international break to prepare for his first game, away to Watford.
