Paulinho has joined Barcelona from Guangzhou Evergrande for a fee of €40 million ($47 million).

Paulinho spent two seasons with Tottenham Hotspur before going to China.

"It is a unique opportunity for me to be able to play for Barcelona, the best team in the world and surrounded by the best players," said Paulinho.

Barcelona has also been attempting to buy Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool.
