Chelsea have finalized their €45 million transfer for Tiemoue Bakayoko of Monaco.

Bakayoko underwent keyhole surgery to clean out one of his knees at the end of the French domestic season and is in rehabilitation. 

Bakayoko preferred a transfer to Chelsea and they received no other firm bids.

Bakayoko's arrival could lead to a sale of Nemanja Matic.
