Joan Laporta has questioned Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu for his silence following Barcelona's 4-0 loss at Paris Saint-Germain.

"You feel messed up [as president]," Laporta told RAC1 when asked how he used to feel after the biggest defeats during his presidency at the Camp Nou. "The first reaction that comes into your head is to go out, send a message of recognition [for what happened], look forward and live from repentance.

"It surprised me that Bartomeu didn't come out, the president of Barcelona. I haven't seen him anywhere. It's further evidence of what I think of him."

Laporta lost to Bartomeu in the presidential election in 2015.

"It's been awhile since this board started destroying Barcelona," Laporta continued.

"The only thing they are doing is taking advantage of what we left and dedicating themselves to their own business, doing their own thing. It's dangerous to leave Barcelona in the hands of this board."
