Benfica advanced to the Europa League final after beating Juventus 1-0 on aggregate despite having a man sent off.

Enzo Pérez was shown his second yellow card by the English referee, Mark Clattenburg, for a foul on Arturo Vidal, but Jorge Jesus's team maintained their composure.

It is the third time Benfica have reached the final, having been runners-up in 1983 and last year, when the Portuguese side were beaten by Chelsea.

Benfica will play Sevila on May 15 back at Juventus Stadium in Turin.

Sevilla scored in added time of a 3-1 defeat at Valencia due to the away-goal rule.
