Villarreal have signed former loanee Denis Cheryshev from Real Madrid.

During his previous stint, he featured in 40 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals and assisting 10.

Cheryshev returned to Real Madrid last season but didn't feature in their plans and was loaned to Valencia in January.

Cheryshev is a 25-year-old winger who signed with Real Madrid in 2008.
