Mesut Ozil has been named Arsenal's player of the year in a vote by supporters of the club.

Ozil had by far his best campaign as a Gunner in his third year at the club, and led the Premier League in assists and chances created.

In total, Ozil played 45 games in all competitions, scoring eight goals and creating 171 chances for teammates with a passing accuracy of 85.7 percent.

Ozil was still left out of the PFA's Team of the Year in favour of West Ham's Dimitri Payet and Tottenham's Dele Alli.
