John Terry told the supporters of Chelsea he wants to remain with the club but he hasn't confirmed if he'll accept their one-year extension offer.

Terry addressed the Stamford Bridge crowd during Chelsea's lap of appreciation.

Chelsea confirmed on Friday that Terry was considering a new one-year deal after a meeting with director Marina Granovskaia and chairman Bruce Buck last week.

"We all want the same thing," Terry told Chelsea supporters, who chanted: 'We want you to stay.'

"I've said for a long time I want to finish my career here. I'll be speaking to the club over the next few days. I want to stay, the club knows that, the fans know that.

"Chelsea is my life, as it is yours. The best moments of my life have been in this stadium. You've been a big part of that."

Terry has also been considering a move to the MLS but he's reportedly been asked to lower his wage demands.
