Jose Mourinho has written a six-page letter explaining how he desires the job of Manchester United manager and would be willing to conform to club principles.

Mourinho also offered a detailed plan for the team.

Mourinho was fired by Chelsea earlier this season and has since been strongly linked to the United job.

Sources said Mourinho is "relaxed" about his future but he's long desired the job of United manager.

There are some board members more open to hiring Mourinho than they were in 2013 when Alex Ferguson retired.
