Borussia Dortmund's 3-0 loss in the first leg of the Champions League tie against Real Madrid highlighted their need for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski, who was out on a suspension.

Lewandowski is leaving for Bayern Munich in the summer.

Adrian Ramos of Hertha Berlin is the overwhelming favorite to become the next Dortmund striker.

"There is a big chance that Adrian will join Dortmund," said Ramos' agent.

Edin Dzeko of Manchester City has also been linked to Dortmund, while Ciro Immobile of Torino is another possibility.

Dortmund has previously said that Marco Reus and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang could be moved up front permanently, but that is unlikely to give the club enough firepower to maintain their position in Germany and Europe.
