Arsenal continues to have their season fall apart and are now could fall out of the Champions League with their 3-0 loss at Everton.

Steven Naismith and Romelu Lukaku scored in the first half for Everton, while Mikel Arteta had an own goal in the 61st minute.

"Against Arsenal you need to have a way of turning their possession into your threat," said Everton manager Roberto Martínez. "It let Rom turn on to his favored left foot."

Arsenal has reached the Champions League in 16 straight seasons, but Everton is just one point behind the Gunners for fourth place with a game in hand.

Everton controls their own destiny, but they have to play Manchester City and Manchester United while Arsenal has an easier remaining schedule in fixtures against West Ham, Hull, Newcastle, West Brom and Norwich.

Arsenal still has a 70.2 percent change of finishing in the top-4 compared to 28.2 percent for Everton.
