Undiano Mallenco awarded three penalty kicks in Barcelona's 4-3 win over Real Madrid, with all three eliciting skepticism.

Cristiano Ronaldo was fouled at the edge of the penalty box by Dani Alves, which likely should have been a free kick. Sergio Ramos was given a red card for fouling Neymar in the box in which the contact was minimal at best, while Andres Iniesta fell down when being sandwiched by Dani Carvajal and Xabi Alonso. The third penalty and game-winner for Barcelona was the clearest mistake by Mallenco.

"The referee was white as a sheet, very nervous and he committed many errors," said Ronaldo. "It obviously bugs certain people if Madrid are successful and winning. We needed a referee of the right stature for this game. I've been here for a long time and it seems to generate a lot of envy if we are doing well. People wanted Barcelona back in the title race and now they have that. We aren't treated equally."
