Pep Guardiola has agreed to a long-term partnership with Puma.

Guardiola will endorse Puma products off the field as well as advise the company on future products.

Guardiola joins Manchester City players Sergio Aguero and David Silva on Puma.

“So much of my footballing philosophy and understanding of the game was influenced by Johan Cruyff, who was sponsored by PUMA, and I am proud to follow in his footsteps," said Guardiola. 

LaLiga is rebranding their second division as LaLiga SmartBank after its previous title of LaLiga 2.

Banco Santander remains the main sponsor of LaLiga.

“LaLiga is synonymous with innovation and commitment to the future, so we are delighted to accompany Banco Santander in its commitment to young people, and to continue betting on strengthening this, since upon season, with LaLiga SmartBank,”  said the LaLiga marketing director Juan Carlos Díaz.

Andorra, owned by Gerard Pique, replaced Reus in the Spanish third division.

The club paid over $500,000 to buy their way into the league.

Segunda B consists of four groups of 20 clubs. 

Andorra are managed by former Barcelona player Gabri.

Gerard Pique has bought Gimnastic Manresa to serve as a youth academy for FC Andorra, which he also owns.

The purchase was made through Pique's company Kosmos.

Pique's investment is expected to bring in improvements to the club's infrastructure. 

Patrick Kluivert has been unveiled as the new director of La Masia.

Kluivert was most recently working with Clarence Seedorf as an assistant with the Cameroon national team.

Kluivert will be in charge of re-organizing coaches across Barcelona's youth academy. 

Pep Segura has left his role as general manager of Barcelona after 22 seasons with the club.

The 58-year-old came under scrutiny for his transfer signings and a lack of youth promotion in recent years.

Eric Abidal is favored to take Segura's position. 

Barcelona recorded an income of $1.1 billion for the 2018-19 season, setting a new club record.

They are the first team to pass the $1 billion mark.

The club made a pre-tax operating profit of $19 million.

A new television deal plus a late-run into the Champions League were both responsible for their record income. 

Xavi Simons has left Barcelona's youth academy.

The 16-year-old was seen as one of the jewels of La Masia.

PSG are rumored as Simons' next club. 

Paulo Dybala will take a central position for Juventus next season, according to Maurizio Sarri.

“I think Dybala can play as a false nine quite comfortably. We can also set up the attack slightly differently, with the 4-3-1-2 and Dybala playing on the right of a front two," said Sarri.

Dybala was deployed as a right winger last season to accommodate Ronaldo. 

Sadio Mane will take a two week break and return to Liverpool following their Community Shield match against Manchester City.

Mane's season ended last weekend following a loss in the African Cup of Nations final.

The Community Shield takes place on August 4th.
