Nacho Monreal and Mohamed Elneny each left Arsenal before the closing of the European transfer window.

The 33-year-old Monreal signed a two-year deal with Real Sociedad.

The 27-year-old Elneny joined Besitkas on a season-long loan. 

Oliver Burke has moved from West Brom to Alaves on a season-long loan.

West Brom have the ability to recall the 22-year-old Scottish winger in January.

West Brom purchased Oliver Burke from RB Leipzig last winter in a club record $18 million deal. 

Roma are pursuing a loan deal for Chris Smalling.

Smalling has fallen down the United pecking order following their signing of Harry Maguire.

Manchester United previously rejected a loan move for Smalling from Everton. 

Manchester United and Inter Milan have agreed to a loan deal of Alexis Sanchez.

United will pay a portion of Sanchez's wages.

Sanchez has had a frustrating tenure with United since joining the club from Arsenal in 2018.

Nikola Kalinic has moved from Atletico Madrid to Roma on a loan move.

The deal comes with an option to buy. 

Roma recently sold Patrik Schick to Leipzig, opening up a slot for Kalinic. 

Takefusa Kubo will move to Real Mallorca on a season-long loan.

The 18-year-old turned down several offers from other La Liga sides for Real Mallorca.

18-year-old Rodrygo is set to begin the season with Real Madrid's B team. 

Davide Zappacosta has joined Roma from Chelsea on a season loan.

Zappacosta joined Chelsea for an initial £23 million from Torino in 2017.

Zappacosta is the third defender to leave Chelsea since May, following David Luiz and Gary Cahill.

Zappacosta has not held down a regular starting place at Chelsea.

Barcelona have offered to take Neymar from Paris Saint-Germain on a loan deal with an option to make the move permanent next summer.

Barcelona had hoped to include Philippe Coutinho to Paris Saint-Germain as a makeweight, but he instead has been loaned to Bayern Munich. Barcelona will try to replicate Bayern's strategy with Neymar and PSG.

Barca don't have huge sums of money to spend, having already spent more than €200m this summer on Antoine Griezmann, Frenkie De Jong, Junior Firpo and Neto.

Barcelona offered €80 million plus Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic. PSG countered with €120 million plus Coutinho and Semedo.

Barca have not given up on signing Neymar even though high-ranking officials have told ESPN FC "it will be complicated," especially given the threat of Real Madrid.

Bayern Munich has agreed to a loan deal with Barcelona for Philippe Coutinho.

Bayern will pay Coutinho's full salary for the season and have the option of making the deal permanent next summer for €120 million.

"All parties have agreed not to disclose any financial details of the agreement." However, Barcelona included details of the loan fee and price to make the deal permanent in their announcement.

"For me, this move means a new challenge in a new country with one of the best clubs in Europe," Coutinho said after completing the move. "I'm very much looking forward to that. Like FC Bayern, I have big ambitions and I'm convinced that I can achieve them together with my new teammates."

Inter Milan have approached Manchester United about a season-long loan deal for Alexis Sanchez.

Sanchez turned down a move to Roma last week.

Inter already signed Romelu Lukaku from United this summer.

Sanchez joined United from Arsenal during the January 2018 window.
