Toni Kroos has signed a contract extension with Real Madrid through the 22-23 season.

Kroos joined Real Madrid from Bayern Munich in 2014.

Kroos averaged 74 passes per match with a 93.2 success percentage this season in La Liga.

Vincent Kompany will leave Manchester City to become the player-manager of Anderlecht.

Kompany was the longest serving City player having signed with the club in 2008.

"For the next 3 years, I will take up the role of Player-Manager of RSC Anderlecht ... I have decided to take up the challenge at RSC Anderlecht. Player-Manager. I want to share my knowledge with the next purple generations. With that, I will also put a bit of Manchester in the heart of Belgium," wrote Kompany in a Facebook post.

Chelsea announced that they extended David Luiz's contract through 2021.

Luiz's contract was set to expire this summer, but he has become a key part of Maurizio Sarri's side. 

"I am so happy to be here and to have this opportunity to stay. I love this club and I still have the ambition of a young player. It means a lot to reach another European final, and we still have the opportunity to finish in the top three of the Premier League this season and I will continue to try to do my best to help the team," David Luiz said.
