ESPN drew a 18.2 million viewers for its broadcast of the match on Sunday between the United States and Portugal.

Univision also received 6.5 million viewers on its Spanish-language broadcast.

The match is now the most viewed telecast in United States' history, passing the 1999 Women's World Cup final. The match is also the most viewed non-American football broadcast in ESPN's history.

The USA-Portugal match drew 30 percent more viewers than the USA-Ghana match on Monday, which is in part related to Sunday television ratings being routinely higher.
