Germany has dropped to 15th in the latest FIFA world rankings, which represents their lowest position in more than a decade. Germany entered the World Cup ranked No. 1.

Germany ranked No. 22 in March 2006 but finished the year No. 6 after finishing third in that World Cup in which they were hosts.

France are in the top spot after winning their second World Cup. Belgium rank second, followed by Brazil and Croatia.

Uruguay rose from No. 9 to No. 5, England moved up six places to No. 6 and Argentina dropped to No. 11.
