Vitolo has started all five of Spain's 2018 World Cup qualifiers, scoring four times.

Vitolo's play with Spain and Sevilla have placed him on the radar of Barcelona at the age of 27.

"Barcelona are one of the best teams in the world, and any player would like to play for them," said Vitolo.

Vitolo has thrived under new Spain manager Julen Lopetegui where he's been used as a winger in a 4-3-3 formation, placed out wide opposite David Silva.

"Playing with David Silva is a spectacle, and it is very easy to get along with great masters like him. The truth is that there are good players at Canary Islands, and I hope that more will follow us."

Barcelona can afford to pay the €35 million buyout clause included by Sevilla last summer.
