Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Antoine Griezmann headline the list of 30 nominees for the 2016 Ballon d'Or award.

Ronaldo and Messi have finished first and second in each of the past five seasons.

The current list will be reduced to three before the Dec. 13th ceremony.
